Dental Record Keeping by General Dental Practitioners in Lahore

Objective: of this study is to analyze the behavior/attitude general dental practitioners towards record keeping and quality assessment patient records found in different practices Lahore. Study design: Cross sectional, Descriptive, Questionnaire based (Copy questionnaire attached). Place Duration Study: Data collection for was conducted private Lahore from Oct-2017 Dec-2017. Methods; A random sample 60 were selected by means stratified sampling towns Dentists interviewed checked data which analyzed using SPSS version 23. Results: Interview 43 dentists analysis their revealed that 16 (37.2%) have no at all even none remaining 27 (62.8%) practices. Who claim records, has any properly completed record. Shows got very casual behavior as most them not having ones who claimed maintaining a poor form. Conclusion: Female dentists, postgraduates working group affluent areas relatively more tendency keeping.
